Welcome to Sudbury Films. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Sudbury Films’ digital platforms, immersive experiences, and services (“Sudbury Films,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using Sudbury Films’ platforms, experiences, or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not access or use our platforms or services.

1. The Sudbury Films Experience

Sudbury Films is a digital media, immersive technology, and cultural infrastructure platform providing interactive, creative, cinematic, and extended reality (XR) experiences, including virtual environments, digital twins, immersive storytelling, and media services.

Our experiences and platforms are provided as-is and may evolve over time through updates, enhancements, expansions, or modifications.

2. Eligibility

You may use Sudbury Films platforms and services only if:

  • You meet the minimum age requirements of any applicable platform providers

  • You are legally permitted to access digital, immersive, and online services in your jurisdiction

  • You comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations

3. Privacy & Data Practices

Sudbury Films is built on a privacy-first architecture.

Sudbury Films:

  • Does not collect, store, or sell personal user data

  • Does not track individual user behavior

  • Does not perform user-level behavioral analytics

  • Does not create personal data profiles

Use of our experiences is designed to remain confidential and personal by default.

4. Acceptable Use

By using Sudbury Films platforms and services, you agree to:

  • Use services for lawful purposes only

  • Respect other participants, creators, and shared digital spaces

  • Refrain from harassment, abuse, or disruptive conduct

  • Avoid attempting to reverse engineer, exploit, interfere with, or compromise platform systems

  • Not introduce malicious code, automation tools, or unauthorized modifications

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for conduct that undermines platform integrity, safety, security, or intended use.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, media, environments, designs, systems, trademarks, branding, digital assets, and interactive experiences are owned by or licensed to Sudbury Films, unless otherwise stated.

You may:

  • Access and interact with content for personal, non-commercial use

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit content without authorization

  • Use Sudbury Films branding or identity assets without permission

  • Create derivative works based on proprietary environments, systems, or platforms

  • Commercialize any part of Sudbury Films platforms without written consent

6. User-Generated Content (If Applicable)

If Sudbury Films enables user content submission, creation, or display:

  • You retain ownership of your original content

  • You grant Sudbury Films a limited, non-exclusive right to display that content within its platforms

  • You confirm that you hold the rights to any content you contribute

  • Sudbury Films reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable laws

7. Third-Party Platforms & Services

Sudbury Films may operate within or alongside third-party platforms and technologies.

All third-party platforms, tools, and services (including XR platforms, cloud services, media platforms, and game engines) remain governed by their own terms of service.

Sudbury Films does not sell, transfer, sublicense, or claim ownership over third-party platform technologies or platform data.

8. Availability & Modifications

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to Sudbury Films platforms or services.

We may:

  • Update or modify features

  • Temporarily suspend services for maintenance

  • Discontinue certain content, services, or experiences

  • Evolve platform architecture and offerings

Sudbury Films is not liable for interruptions or changes that occur during normal operations, upgrades, or platform evolution.

9. Disclaimers

Sudbury Films platforms and services are provided “as is” and “as available.”

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • All warranties, express or implied, are disclaimed

  • We do not guarantee performance, accuracy, availability, or reliability

  • Use of services is at your own risk

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Sudbury Films shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

  • Sudbury Films is not responsible for user interactions or conduct within shared digital spaces

  • Platform use is at user discretion and risk

Certain jurisdictions may not allow some limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Termination

Sudbury Films may suspend or terminate access if:

  • These Terms are violated

  • Continued access presents risk to platform security, integrity, or community safety

  • Legal or regulatory obligations require action

You may stop using Sudbury Films platforms and services at any time.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction where Sudbury Films operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to These Terms

Sudbury Films may update these Terms periodically.

Continued use of platforms or services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
