GIV’N Privacy Policy
Last Updated: March 10, 2026
GIV’N – Global Interconnected Virtual Network respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal autonomy, confidentiality, and trust. Our platform is designed to provide immersive virtual experiences while minimizing the collection and storage of personal information.
This Privacy Policy explains how information may be processed when using the GIV’N application on Meta Quest devices and how we comply with applicable privacy and platform requirements.
1. Information Processed
GIV’N is designed to minimize personal data collection. The application does not independently collect or maintain databases containing personal information.
However, certain information may be temporarily processed through platform services and networking systems in order for the application to function.
Meta Avatar Data
When users access GIV’N through their Meta account, the application may access avatar information provided by the Meta platform through the Meta Avatar system. This may include:
Avatar appearance and customization
Avatar movement and animation data
This data is used only to visually represent users within the immersive environment.
Platform and Device Information
The Meta platform may provide limited system information necessary to operate the application, which may include:
Meta User ID
Device runtime information
Session identifiers required for application functionality
GIV’N does not store this information outside the Meta platform.
Interaction Data
During use of the application, temporary interaction data may be processed in order to support immersive and shared experiences, including:
Avatar position and movement within the virtual environment
Interaction events necessary for collaborative or multiplayer experiences
This information exists only for the duration required to operate the experience.
2. Multiplayer Networking Data
GIV’N may use real-time networking technology provided by Photon services operated by Exit Games in order to support shared virtual environments and multiplayer interactions.
Photon networking may temporarily process session-based information required to synchronize participants in real time. This may include:
Temporary player identifiers used during a session
Room or session state information
Avatar position and interaction synchronization
This networking data is temporary and session-based.
Once a multiplayer session ends or a virtual room closes, the associated networking data is automatically removed and not retained.
GIV’N does not maintain independent storage of Photon networking data.
3. How Information Is Used
Information processed during use of the application is used solely to provide the functionality of the immersive experience.
This includes:
Displaying user avatars within the virtual environment
Enabling real-time interaction between participants
Synchronizing avatar movement and animation
Maintaining application functionality and performance
GIV’N does not use information for:
Advertising
Behavioral tracking
Marketing
Profiling users
Selling or monetizing personal data
User presence within GIV’N is designed to remain private and session-based.
4. Data Sharing and Third Parties
GIV’N does not sell, rent, or distribute personal data to third parties.
Certain information may be processed through services provided by external platform infrastructure in order to support application functionality.
These services may include:
Meta platform services for authentication and avatar rendering
Photon networking infrastructure operated by Exit Games for real-time multiplayer synchronization
These services operate under their own privacy and security policies.
5. Data Retention
GIV’N does not maintain independent databases containing user personal data.
Information processed during application use exists only for the duration required to operate the experience within the platform environment.
Because GIV’N does not store user data externally:
There is no long-term data retention
Networking session data is automatically removed when sessions end
Personal data is not stored or archived by the application
Our architecture prioritizes privacy by design.
6. Children’s Privacy
GIV’N does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Use of the application must comply with the age requirements established by the Meta platform.
Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided information may contact us for assistance.
7. User Control and Data Requests
Users who wish to request deletion of any data associated with their use of GIV’N may contact us directly.
Because certain platform information is managed by Meta services, users may also manage or remove their data through their Meta account settings.
Privacy requests may be submitted to:
Email: LARRYBERNARD@SUDBURYFILMS.COM
Requests will be reviewed and addressed within a reasonable timeframe in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.
8. Security
GIV’N is designed with privacy-focused architecture and minimizes data processing wherever possible.
The application relies on secure platform infrastructure provided by Meta and networking services provided by Photon to maintain secure real-time interactions.
9. Policy Updates
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect improvements to the application or changes in platform requirements.
Updated versions will be posted publicly and will take effect immediately upon publication.
