SUDBURY, ON – SudburyFilms.com is proud to announce the successful collaboration and conclusion of its a four-part creative development series at Indie Cinema Sudbury throughout December 2025 and January 2026. The series showcased the intersection of local entrepreneurship and cutting-edge immersive technology. The events convened local creators, innovators, entrepreneurs, and community members at the crossroads of entrepreneurship and cutting-edge immersive technology, fostering a shared exploration of storytelling, innovation, and the evolving landscape of digital expression.
The four-part event served as the launch platform for GIV’N — the Global Interconnected Virtual Network — a new initiative by SudburyFilms.com. As a newly certified and verified Meta Developer, the organization is leveraging advanced virtual technologies to transition local artistic and business environments into the digital era. By integrating traditional cinematic storytelling with Extended Reality (XR) and Virtual Reality (VR), the project offers a forward-looking vision of Sudbury’s emerging digital landscape.
The success of this tech initiative reflecting in this series was made possible through the generous support of the Sudbury business community. SudburyFilms.com would like to extend a special heartfelt thank you goes out to three outstanding local Sudbury business whose support elevated the experience for attendees:
Kuppajo - Espresso Bar — recognized for providing tea and fresh baked goods during the final session of Awaken the Creator Within, creating a warm and welcoming environment for participants.
Dragon Lady VR Entertainment (VR Arcade) — celebrated for contributing an exciting Meta Headset giveaway which will have GIV'N 's early infrastructure access to its creator's platform, helping inspire attendees with the chance to explore immersive technologies and opportunities.
Docs Bike Shop and Hobby Store — featured alongside the above partners in SudburyFilms.com’s GIV’N project, where each business had their virtual environment featured and showcased as part of an innovative local business spotlight initiative.

Cet événement en quatre volets a également servi de plateforme de lancement pour GIV’N — Groupe Interconnecté Virtuel Numérique et en anglais Global Interconnected Virtual Network — une nouvelle initiative de SudburyFilms.com. En tant que Meta Horizon Developer certifié et vérifié, l’organisation exploite des technologies virtuelles avancées pour intégrer les environnements artistiques et commerciaux locaux dans l’ère numérique. En combinant la narration cinématographique traditionnelle avec la Réalité Étendue (XR) et la Réalité Virtuelle (VR), le projet offre une vision prospective du paysage numérique émergent de Sudbury.
